2007 Spring—Fifth Grandmothers' Council Gathering, Black Hills, South Dakota
From June 12-22, 2007 the Grandmothers will gather as a council for the fifth time, at the South Dakota home of the Oglala Lakota grandmothers. There will be public and private meetings, ceremonies, and opportunities for cultural field trips. The gathering will be celebrating the 80th Birthday of Beatrice Long Visitor Holy Dance .  The participant letter and registration form are now available. 2008 Fall—Sixth Grandmothers' Council Gathering, Gabon, Africa
In the fall of 2008, the sixth Council gathering will be held in the African rainforest surrounding Libreville, Gabon, at the temple of Bernadette Rebienot

2006 Fall—Fourth Council Gathering, Dharamsala, India In October the Grandmothers' Council convened in India at the exiled home of the Tibetans, hosted by the Tibetan grandmother Tsering Dolma Gyaltong. The Grandmothers and 130 participants were fortunate to have a private audience with H.H. the Dalai Lama,  to strengthen their prayer for global peace and to acknowledge their solidarity with the Tibetan people to reclaim their homeland. In addition to the audience with His Holiness, the gathering met with the Nechung Oracle and the Karmapa Lama, and toured several monasteries, the Dolmaling Nunnery, and the Tibetan Children's Village.
